I&#039;d argue that there&#039;s a lot more outside (non-Muslimah) interest in Muslim women and &quot;veiling&quot; (hijab/niqab/burqa)than with Black women&#039;s hair. As I said, the politicization of &quot;natural&quot; (i.e., chemically unaltered) hair is irritating. I&#039;ll get to all that later. 

Oh, and you should totally write about your ArabFro. *TEE!* ArabFro. That&#039;s so cute. You should give us some pics. I&#039;ve gotten mixed responses about my own hair when I wear it out. Even the &quot;positive&quot; responses - for reasons I&#039;ll get to later - are kinda euw, and when it&#039;s flat-ironed it is universally well-received...SIGH. People suck. If my head wasn&#039;t dented like an old soda can I would totally rock a low cut or go bald.]]></description>
